On 27th February a Beacon presentation will be held in Newton Abbott for U3As in Devon which do not yet use Beacon.
On the day, attendees will receive a presentation covering the benefits using Beacon brings, including reducing risk across the U3A, improving ease of access to information and lessening the workload of U3A volunteers.
The presentation will also cover the key functional areas of the system: managing members and groups, tracking finances and communicating with members.
Attendees will also experience a live demonstration of the Beacon system, showing how the tools work in practice.
There will be two members of the Beacon Team, Marilyn Lean and Stephen Shipley, in attendance to provide advice and guidance and to answer questions raised by the attendees.
The Beacon Team is always on hand to give prospective Beacon users a flavour of the system and show how it can make life easier for you.
If you’re interested in implementing Beacon at your U3A, then get in touch.
