On the footer of the website, under Quick Links, we have now placed a link to the User Guide for visitors/users to gain easy access to this pdf document. When the link is clicked it takes you to a dedicated page where you will find a link button labelled “Beacon User Guide”.
On 27th February a Beacon presentation will be held in Newton Abbott for U3As in Devon which do not yet use Beacon.
February will bring significant improvements to the way Beacon handles ledgers, with renamed fields, improved sorting and better handling of credit batches.
The number of U3As using Beacon has grown from 300 to 400 over the lifetime of this website.
